TASTE OF TORAH CLASS—Shabbat 9-10am in the Social Hall classroom, studying the weekly Torah Parsha. Join us as we rediscover the foundations of our faith in Messiah. Various KA teachers. See Gabe Pacheco for details. All adults and older kids welcome!

 ESTUDIO DE BIBLIA EN ESPAÑOL—9-10am cada Shabbat con Luciano Rivera. Todos son bienvenidos.Tambien ofrecemos Havurah en Espanol y tenemos articulos Mesianicos a la venta.

TUES PRAYER MINYAN AND MESSIANIC JEWISH INSTITUTE

Join the Prayer Minyan at 6:30-7:00pm as we lift up the needs of Israel and our synagogue.  No classes for winter break Dec. 19-Jan. 2.  Next class tarts Jan. 9, 7:00-8:30pm.  “Book of Judges” taught by Rabbi Elliot Klayman.  7-week course exploring the history of Israel.  This class can be applied to our Certificate of Messianic Jewish Studies. Also available online for distant learners.  Learn more of your Jewish roots!

KA HANUKKAH SERVICE-December 16, 10:30am.  Come out for this special Shabbat celebration as we recall the miracles of the season.  Holiday music, latke potluck luncheon and a special message on the meaning of Hanukkah for all believers in Messiah.  Invite a friend for this “enlightening” time (Yochanan/John 10:22).  Nes gadol hayah sham!

MITZVAH FOR THE HOLIDAYSA group of KA members will be serving a holiday meal to homeless families at Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church, 1675 Garnet Ave.  Sunday, Dec. 24, 3:30-6:30pm.  All adults and kids are encouraged to serve!

HOLIDAY GIFTS THAT SUPPORT OUR SYNAGOGUE!-You can still purchase some wonderful art work after service.  In the last month we have raised $35,000. to go towards our new fencing & pavement.  Be praying about a year-end gift to meet our goal of $50,000.  Todah rabah!

HEBREW SCHOOL–began Saturday, November 18, 9-10am.  We start a new 15-week semester for all kids 10-13 years old who desire to have a KA Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  There is a fee plus other requirements.  Call our office or talk to Rabbi Kasdan for more details.

“THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK”–is being presented at the Moxie Theatre, Nov. 12-Dec 17.  Talk to Eric Tauber about getting a group together for Nov 18, or go to www.moxietheatre.com to buy individual tickets.

KA DANCE REVIEWEvery Shabbat at 9:30am in the Social Hall. All are welcome for a review of the worship dances for today’s service.
