TASTE OF TORAH CLASS—Shabbat 9-10am in the Social Hall classroom, studying the

weekly Torah Parsha. Join us as we rediscover the foundations of our faith in

Minyan at 6:30-7:00pm as we lift up the needs of Israel and our synagogue.   New

10-week class begins May 8, 7:00-8:30pm, taught by Rabbi Barney Kasdan.

“The Jewish Context of the Book of Romans”  Also available online if you want to

take this class from your home.


KA SHAVUOT SERVICE—Sat, May 19, 7:30pm. Come out for this joyous

celebration of the giving of the Torah plus the giving of the Ruach/Holy Spirit.  There

will be lots of music and dance as well as important liturgy for this holy day.  All this

followed by our Mt. Sinai Ice Cream Social to celebrate the “milk of the Word.”

SHOWCASE THEATER–Please join us on Monday, May 21st at 7:00pm in the newly renovated Youth Room (downstairs). The

thespians have been preparing for a wonderful performance.  $5 includes: entertainment, coffee and snacks.

ARAB CHRISTIAN/MESSIANIC JEWISH FELLOWSHIP EVENT—on Sat, June 2, 5-8:30pm at Life Pacific College, 1100 W. Covina Blvd.,

San Dimas CA 91773. A joyous evening of ethnic music, fellowship, inspirational testimonies, Messianic dance & good food. Call

UMJC COMMUNITY PICNIC June 3, Sunday, 11am-5pm. The UMJC is hosting a wonderful day of food, fellowship, games, Israeli

dance and live music.  Several worship bands will be performing including headliner Lev Shelo with Corry Bell.  12 synagogues

(UMJC + MJAA) and other Jewish ministries will be attending this special event at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley (Orange

County).  Free event with $5 entry fee per vehicle.   Bring the entire family to this great opportunity to meet with believers from all

over SoCal.

MAYIM CHAYIM IS OPEN!–The KA Resource Center is stocked with some

excellentJudaica items, books & music.  Take a look and you can arrange to purchase

after Shabbat.  Tree of Life Messianic Bible and siddurs now available!
