TUESDAY PRAYER MINYAN AND MESSIANIC JEWISH INSTITUTE— Join us at 6:30pm for intercessory prayer for Israel and the needs of our synagogue. New 9-week class began April 30, “Genesis – A Messianic Perspective” $60. per student. Taught by Rabbi Kasdan.
“THE CORE” JR. AND SR. HIGH YOUTH FELLOWSHIP & BIBLE STUDY— Fellowship/games 6:30pm; study is 7-8:30pm currently in the Books of Titus. Come out Tuesdays to connect with other messianic youth.

KA DANCE REVIEW—Every Shabbat at 9:30am upstairs in the Dance room. All are welcome for a review of the worship dances for today’s service.
YOUNG ADULT/20′s HAVURA—Next meeting Sun, May 26 at 6:30pm at 8148 Avenida Navidad, SD 92122. Join us for fun, food, fellowship and lively discussion of biblical topics. Bring a side dish to accompany kosher BBQ hot dogs. Also, bring a swim suit and tennis racquet. Contact Tamar at 513-238-9745.
HOUSE OF ISRAEL ANNUAL LAWN PROGRAM–Sun, May 19, 12-4pm at the Stage in front of the House of Israel, Balboa Park. Enjoy this special celebration of the newly renovated house, Israeli food, Jewish friendship and entertainment for the whole family! Invite a Jewish friend.
ARAB CHRISTIAN/MESSIANIC JEWISH 23RD ANNIVERSARY EVENT–Sat, June 1 from 5-9:30pm in San Dimas CA. Event is Free and includes a falafel dinner nosh. Joanne and Eric Kragenbrink are in the mixed Arab/Messianic band. It’s a night of testimonies, ethnic music, Messianic dance, inspirational messages and joyous fellowship. KA & THE WIESENTHAL CENTER—40 KA members will be carpooling to West LA to visit this world-famous Museum of Tolerance on Sun, May 19, 10am-8pm. Tickets only $10.50 /person plus gas fee & your dinner at a Jewish deli. Sold Out!

SHABBAT AT THE SHORES—Fri, June 14, 5pm –sunset. Welcome in the summer season with a beautiful sunset service at La Jolla Shores on the grassy area by the main lifeguard tower. Bring your dinner, blanket & chair. All surfers meet the Rabbi at 4pm at the checkered flag for a surf session!
THIS SUMMER JERUSALEM!— for the next KA Mission to Israel. One week study tour followed by a 3-day Mitzvah project of renovating a bomb shelter at an Israeli apartment complex. June 23-July 5, 2013 led by Rabbi Barney. Study part of tour is with Messianic believers from around the globe with the UMJC. More details at umjc.org.

Please turn off or silence all cell phones as you enter the Sanctuary. It is our custom at Kehilat Ariel that all men wear a kippah during Shabbat service (extras available in the lobby). A headcovering is optional for women. Thank you for honoring the customs of our shul.
