TASTE OF TORAH CLASS—Shabbat 9-10am, studying the weekly Torah Parsha. Join us upstairs as we rediscover the foundations of our faith in Messiah. Various KA teachers. See Gabe Pacheco for details. All adults and older kids welcome!

 ESTUDIO DE BIBLIA EN ESPAÑOL—9-10am cada Shabbat con Luciano Rivera. Todos son bienvenidos.Tambien ofrecemos Havurah en Espanol y tenemos articulos Mesianicos a la venta.

TUESDAY PRAYER MINYAN AND MESSIANIC JEWISH INSTITUTEJoin the Prayer Minyan at 6:30-7:00pm as we lift up the needs of Israel and our synagogue. Current class, “Jewish Messianism”, 7-8:30pm, is also offered online. Fee is $60.00. Taught by Rabbi Elliot Klayman.  The course examines false messiahs through the ages and explores the question of why Jewish people were so anxious to accept them while rejecting the true Messiah.  The class will also be offered online. Fee is $60.00. Contact Jan at the office to register and to receive the syllabus which includes the assigned reading. These classes can be applied to our Certificate of Messianic Jewish Studies.

KA DANCE REVIEWEvery Shabbat at 9:30am upstairs in the Dance room. All are welcome for a review of the worship dances for today’s service.

OUR THERMOMETER IS BURSTING!—Thank you to all those who have given their Mishkan Offering so far. We are getting closer to our new synagogue! If you have not yet given to the cause, please consider a generous gift for the move-in costs and furnishings!

BEGINNING HEBREW—Class began Sat, Jan 28, 1:30-2:30pm.   Learn the language of the Scriptures and the Siddur in this 4-week course taught by Rabbi Kasdan.  The free class will meet in the Yeshiva Room after services.  All adults and kids encouraged to attend.  If not now, when?

KA CONGREGATIONAL MEETING — Sat, Feb 25, 1:15. We will receive various reports from the committees (including info about our move-in date for our new property) and approve our 2017 budget. Make it a priority to attend. Youth hosted Oneg luncheon.

TU B’SHVAT FAMILY HIKESun, Feb 12, 9am-noon at Lake Murray in La Mesa. Bring water and a nosh as we celebrate the Torah holiday for appreciating God’s c reation. Easy 3-mile hike starts at the Kiowa Drive entrance parking lot at 9:00am.  More ambitious walkers can go up to 6 miles. Bring the whole family and your leased dog.

THURSDAY MORNING SOAR GROUP—Women, we will begin an enriching, challenging 8-week study sometime next month, time TBD. $10 each week includes syllabus & notebook. Live fully alive in the L-rd enriching your relationships! Contact Donna Jacobson or call the KA office for details.

Please turn off or silence all cell phones as you enter the Sanctuary.  It is our custom at Kehilat Ariel that all men (Jews & non-Jews) wear a kippah/headcovering during Shabbat service (extras available in the lobby). A headcovering is optional for women. Extra tallit/prayer shawls are for Jewish visitors. Thank you for honoring the customs of our shul.
