Shabbat M’Tsora

Torah Vayikra (Leviticus) 14:1-15:33, Haftorah M’Lakhim Bet (2 Kings) 7:3-20, B’rit Hadasha Mattityahu (Matthew) 23:16-24:2, 30-31

Vayikra (Leviticus) 14 M’Tsora, in dealing with skin infections and bodily discharges leaving one so impure as to not enter into the Service of HaShem.

Living organisms have the ability to transfer biological impurities, such are some of the characteristics of sin. We must carefully examine EVERY part of our lives for the “plague” that is growing on the walls of our hearts.

How do we stop the transference of impurity?

We stop doing that which causes the impurity and if need be, we destroy and rebuild anew the walls of our hearts.

How are the walls of one’s heart rebuilt? How does one stop doing that which causes impurity in the heart?

Go to your Father who is in heaven and seek Him.

How do I get to my Father?

John 14:6

New King James Version (NKJV)

6 “Yeshua said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
