Why do women wear tallitot at your “synagogue”? Men and women are biblically forbidden to wear clothing normally associated with the other gender. My son coaxed me to go there one Shabbat and the service was so full of confusion. The men and women sit together and the women wear kippot and tallitot. It was a strange experience. 100% of the service was done in English. When one goes to a Synagogue, it’s typical to be with other Jews but I didn’t see any. On Shabbat, I want to be with Jewish people as most Jews do.
