TASTE OF TORAH CLASS—Shabbat 9-10am in the Social Hall classroom, studying the weekly Torah Parsha. Join us as we rediscover the foundations of our faith in Messiah. Various KA teachers. SeeGabePacheco for details. All adults and older kids welcome!

TUES PRAYER MINYAN AND MESSIANIC JEWISH INSTITUTE—Join the Prayer Minyan at 6:30-7:00pm as we lift up the needs of Israel and our synagogue.  Current 7-week class, “Shaul’s Letter to a Rabbi: I & II Timothy”, taught by Rabbi Kasdan. $60 per student. All adults and older kids are welcome to attend. “Study to show yourself approved by God…” Also available online by contacting our office.

KA HANUKKAH SERVICE—Sat., Dec. 8, 10:30am. Come out for this special Shabbat celebration as we recall the miracles of the season. Holiday music, latke potluck luncheon and a special message on the meaning of Hanukkah from a messianic perspective. Bring a salad or latkes to share at the luncheon. Invite a friend for this “enlightening” time (Yochanan/John 10:22).Nes gadol hayah sham!

HANUKKAH EVENTS AROUND TOWN– San Diego is getting its dreidl on. Some fun holiday events include: 1. Sun, Dec 2: Family Hanukkah Happening at the LFJCC, 11am-2pm. 2. Mon, Dec 3: Giant Menorah lighting and ice skating at Liberty Station, 5-9pm. 3. Tue, Dec 4: “Shimmering Lights” concert with Yale Strom at SDSU’s Smith Recital Hall, 7pm. 4. Fri, Dec 7: Celebration at House of Israel, Balboa Park, 5-11pm. 5. Sat, Dec 8: House of Israel, 3-9pm. 6. Weds, Dec 5, 7-9pm, “Gifts” by Storytellers of SD at Eclipse Chocolat in South Park. 7. Fri, Dec 7: House of Israel, Balboa Park, 5-11pm & Sat 12-9pm.

HANUKKAH GIFTS AVAILABLE—Check out the KA Resource Center for great holiday gifts. All proceeds bless the work of the shul.

ISRAELI MUSICAL GUESTS BARRY & BATYA SEGAL—These international recording artists will lead the Shabbat service on December 15 with many of their famous worship songs. They will also be sharing a report and message about what God is doing lately among our Israeli cousins. Don’t miss it and be sure to invite an Israeli  friend! Love offering received.

KA ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION—Many thanks for all those who attended our wonderful celebration! We enjoyed the entertaining program and fun fellowship. We are still counting the love offerings towards our needed playground and pavement repairs. Todah rabah! You can still give a year-end gift to the KA Building Fund for these needs.

KA DANCE REVIEWEvery Shabbat at 9:30am in the Social Hall. All are welcome for a review of the worship dances for today’s service.
