| One of the distinctive elements in our
service at Kehilat Ariel is the lively Jewish music accompanied by
Davidic dance. the Psalmist exhorts us to "Praise the Lord with
stringed instruments and dance" (Psalm 150). We find this a joyful
expression of the reality that the Mashiach/Messiah has come! Although
many of the songs are in Hebrew, you should be able to follow along
with the transliterated overheads. On the simpler "hora"
dances, anyone is welcome to join in. However, for some of the more
intricate worship dances, some previous experience is required. Since
this is part of our worship service we ask that all dancers have modest
attire. If you would like to learn some of the Messianic dances, check
out the dance ministry section of our website, or contact our office
for times when classes are offered. In the meantime, enjoy! |
